Dear Families,
Our parish religious education program exists primarily to support you in your role of primary educators in the faith of your children.
Our religious education program is a continuous process from first grade through Confirmation. It is not just Sacramental preparation.
Classes are also available for Kindergarten.
Classes are in session from mid September through mid May. Our schedule is as follows:
| Kindergarten: | Sunday mornings at 9:30 am* | |
| Grades 1-4 | Sunday mornings at 9:30 am* |
*All 9:30 am Sunday classes conclude with the children entering the church to celebrate the Liturgy of the Eucharist with the parish family of St. Denis. All parents are expected to be in the church to meet their children.
Grades 5-7 – Sunday 10:30 am - 11:15 am
Grades 7 & 8 are Confirmation Preparation

Students in the religious education classes will be using materials published by Pflaum Publishing Company. Their website includes a section for parents and children. Visit www.pflaum.com.
The catechists are members of St. Denis Parish who have volunteered their time, talents and efforts to help in the religious education of our children. All are dedicated and enthusiastic.
All religious education students are taught personal safety rules appropriate for their age level. All catechists complete an online training course entitled "Recognize, Report and Prevent Child Abuse" and undergo a background evaluation.
The Parent Advisory board is comprised of parent volunteers that are members of the parish of St. Denis. The board meets once a month to provide support to the religious education program.
