Dear Parents and Guardians,

On-line registration for returning students is now available on our parish website for the Religious Education year 2011-2012. Please submit the forms as soon as possible (one per child). Payment can be sent later. It is important that your child is registered so we can be prepared to serve all students by having enough books and supplies.

We are looking forward to beginning our year with an outdoor Mass celebrated by Father Jose. Father will bless all the catechists that have so generously come forth to donate their time and talent to teach your children. The students will be able to see their classroom and teacher after Mass. The mass is at 9:30 on October 2, 2011 and will be followed by a barbecue for all members of the parish. Please RSVP on your registration form by putting the number of people from your family that you expect to attend in the "additional info" box. I am looking forward to a great year at St. Denis and hope to meet as many families as possible!

We are still in need of catechists, for all grade levels.

We work in teaching teams, so if you are able to help by volunteering to teach once a month, please contact me as soon as possible at rlyon.stdenis@gmail.com

We will be having a Teachers Breakfast/Gathering on Sept. 25th in the parish center from 10:30-11:30. There will also be a chance to meet the other teachers in your grade level to discuss the coming year. Please prayerfully consider whether God is calling you to this ministry.

Tuition fees are waived for children of our teachers in appreciation of their generous service.

All classes meet on Sundays.

  • Grades K-4 9:30am-10:15
  • Grades 5-7 10:30 am-11:15
  • Second Year Confirmation 5:30pm


    • Tuition and fees:

  • One child — $100
  • Two children — $150
  • Three or more — $200
  • First Communion fee — $25
  • 2nd yr. Confirmation fee — add $5


    • Payment may be put in the collection basket at Mass. Please put it in an envelope marked "Religious Education." It may also be mailed to:
