Dear Religious Education Families,
We begin this month celebrating the Third Sunday of Lent on March 7th.
Our Kindergarten, Fifth and Sixth grade class will be assisting at this Children's mass. Special thanks go to Karen and Paul Melnychuck who coordinated the children's role in this mass. And of course, to the students! They will be singing "A Message From the Lord" to reflect the Sunday gospel.
There will be no 10:30 class for grades 5 and 6 on March 7th. The 9:30 Mass will count as your class time.
First Year Confirmation students continue to meet each Sunday at 10:30 am. They will be learning about the Gifts of the Holy Spirit that are received in a special way at Confirmation. Each week a different Gift will be presented. If students miss any of these classes, the lesson will need to be made up. Please be sure to sign the attendance sheet. (50% attendance required)
On Sunday, March 14, Second Year Confirmation students will have their last regular class. We will continue to take a look at the Gifts of the Holy Spirit. Confirmation Readiness Interviews are being conducted various times through the month of March. Please double check your appointment times. The April class will be a rehearsal for Candidates and Sponsors.
On Thursday, March 25th there is a Parish Reconciliation Service at 7pm. All Second Year Confirmation Candidates should attend in preparation to receive the Sacrament.
There is no class on March 28, Palm Sunday.
