First Communion


First Communion Masses took place on Saturday May 14, 2011 at St. Denis Church and on Sunday May 8, 2011 at Our Lady of the Wayside.

Sacramental Preparation



Holy CommunionRegular attendance and active participation in class beginning in first grade and continuing through the years is a prerequisite.

Reconciliation and Eucharist

Immediate preparation for the Sacraments of Reconciliation and Eucharist take place in the second year of a child's instruction. This is usually second grade. Special arrangements are made for children who are in third grade and above.





First Reconciliation takes place in February.

First Communion takes place in mid-spring.

Children may choose to receive their First Holy Communion at St. Denis on a Saturday, or during the 9:30 Sunday morning mass at Our Lady of the Wayside.
