Regular attendance and active participation in class is a prerequisiste.
The Confirmation program at St. Denis Parish is a two year program, usually begun when the student is in 7th grade, and concluding with Confirmation in the spring of the 8th grade.
Both years of this program are mandatory, regardless of whether or not the candidate attends Catholic school.
Currently, first year students meet on Sunday mornings from 10:30-11:15. Classes are in the Parish Center.
Second year students meet on one Sunday evening a month for a 5:30 pm mass in the chapel followed by a light meal and a one hour class. The evening ends at 7:15 pm.
This year, a retreat is scheduled on January 23, 2011 at the Vallembrosa Retreat Center in Menlo Park for second year candidates.
The Sacrament of Confirmation will be celebrated in May of 2011.
