El
Retiro San Iņigo, the Jesuit Retreat House of Los Altos, is dedicated
to strengthening individuals in a quiet, peaceful environment that
encourages reflection and growth in spirituality; sustaining families
through its counseling programs; and supporting the community through its
outreach programs and the wholesome meeting environment it offers to
schools and other organizations. It believes that individuals who
are spiritually and emotionally strengthened promote strong families and
strong communities. The work of the Jesuit Retreat House is based on
the Spiritual Exercises of Ignatius Loyola, who taught his fellow Jesuits
not to withdraw from the world but to engage it and sanctify it.
Jesuits live out their mission to serve by teaching, conducting retreats,
caring for the poor, and creating a call for justice and peace. |

Beginning
Experience is an international support program for divorced, separated and
widowed individuals and their families. It is a program intended to
facilitate the resolution of the grief surrounding the breakup of a
marriage/relationship and to promote healing. It is an invitational
process that is intended to facilitate the resolution of the grief,
promote healing, and thereby free people to live and love themselves,
others, and God. The Beginning Experience Weekend is the foundation
of the ministry; it includes support programs and outreach to youth as an integral
part of
the ministry. |
The
Center For Spirituality, Healing and Wellness offers you rest and
renewal, and a haven away from the frantic world. Everything appears
different after you experience this restful mountain retreat. The views
are extraordinary; the spring fed lake glistens as the ducks nest in the
marsh and the hawk circles overhead. The surrounding mountains are rich
with the blue colors of the Blue Ridge mountains, and the horses graze
peacefully in the lush pastures |
