Church law demands that a Pastoral Council exist to advise the
pastor on issues related to the life of a parish. In April 2005, a group of parishioners formed a new council and
have been meeting with Fr. Ring on the second Tuesday of the month in the
Parish Library (click

Liturgy
Please contact Sister de Chantal by email
or by phone to (650) 854-1251 if you are interested in participating in a
liturgical ministry (e.g. choir, lector, altar server, Eucharistic minister,
etc.)
A hallmark of Christians has
always been their willingness to reach out and help those who are less
fortunate. Our outreach project of serving dinners at the Maple Street
Shelter on Sundays is coordinated by Patricia Mach. If you can help, please send a e-mail to outreach@stdenisparish.org
Faith
needs to be challenged. Our Spirituality Discussion Group pursues various
topics that can be challenging, including Scripture, classics in spirituality,
and women's issues. Why not drop in for a session? The group
is always looking for new participants. They meet on most Thursday
mornings in the Parish Hall from 9:00 am to 10:30 am. For more
information, please contact Tereza McNamee via email.
Senior Group
Seniors in our parish are invited to join Sister Mary de Chantal
on a variety of activities, from tours to prayers to computers to language
classes, guest speakers, and luncheons.
Please contact Sister de Chantal by email
or by phone to (650) 854-1251 if you would be interested in joining or would
like to be on the group's mailing list.
