Dear Parishioners,
The Holy Week, Easter services and Masses were very well attended at both St. Denis and Our Lady of the Wayside. I would like to thank everyone who worked very hard to make the liturgies a success. And in a special way I would like to thank Fr. Tom Moran, Sr. de Chantal and Gabe Lucas. Thank you!.
I would like to also thank the members of the Choir at both Churches for enhancing the liturgy with your singing. Thank you! Thank you to Peter Vanos for purchasing and delivering the Easter lilies to both the Churches. I would like to thank the ladies who arranged the flowers and decorated the two Churches. Thank you!
I would like to thank you for your generosity in the Easter collection!
The community at Our Lady of the Wayside is very grateful to Michael and Katrina Berube for donating their beautiful baby grand piano to OLW. Thank you for your generosity and I am sure it will be well utilized!
In the Gospel reading for this weekend, Jesus tells Thomas, "Have you come to believe because you have seen me? Blessed are those who have not seen and have believed." We are indeed blessed with the gift of faith. May our prayers, our reading of the scriptures, our religious observances and practices help us to deepen and strengthen our faith in the risen Jesus.
